Richard Twardowski

Project Manager

A veteran of the trade, Richard brings decades of hands-on construction experience and deep field leadership to the B&D team. Having started as a framing carpenter building custom homes, Richard has mastered every trade from the ground up, from pouring concrete to electrical, plumbing, roofing, and fine furniture making. This comprehensive, start-to-finish knowledge allows him to manage complex jobs with exceptional foresight. A true leader when challenges arise, Richard focuses entirely on driving solutions and mentoring younger crew members to keep moving forward.

What challenges do you excel at overcoming in your profession? / When things get tough at work, what's your trick for staying on top?

I'm a bulldog moving forward. I don't focus on the problem; I focus purely on the solution.

What project are you most proud of?

Building B&D's first real building at the Creekside Rec Center, as well as constructing and stoning the lakeside wavy wall for Del Webb.

What would you say it means to Think Outside?

To me, it literally means being outdoors—building, planting, landscaping, and enjoying nature.
